[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Gyeongnam Information University (Director Lim Jun-woo) received the Busan Mayor's Award on the 21st after being recognized as an outstanding company in the field of quality management by the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Standards Association.
Gyeongnam Information University was the only specialized college in the Busan area selected for the Social Customized Industry-Academic Cooperation Leading Specialized College (LINC+) Development Project (Industry-Academic Cooperation Advancement Type) and has been carrying out a smart factory support project to improve the productivity of local industries.
Additionally, it was selected as an operating university for the Specialized College Innovation Support Project, fostering professionals in education, industry-academic cooperation, and organizational innovation.
Lim Jun-woo, Director of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation at Gyeongnam Information University, said, “The university is focusing its infrastructure and capabilities on nurturing professional technical talents who will lead the local community by operating various industry-academic linkage programs and core competency education together with the local community.”
The LINC+ Development Project Group of Gyeongnam Information University recently received the highest grade, “Very Excellent,” in the annual evaluation by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea, recognizing the performance of the project operation.
