Outdoor advertising permits are extended after safety inspections every maximum of 3 years from the initial permit date, and Gimhae City has about 1,400 cases subject to extension annually.
Until now, despite no special required documents for permit and safety inspection applications, applicants had to visit both Gimhae City Hall and the Gimhae City Advertising Cooperative, causing inconvenience.
To improve convenience for civil petitioners, the city established a dedicated banner on the city hall website, creating a one-stop system that allows everything from outdoor advertising extension applications, safety inspection applications, fee payments, to permit printing.
Moon Yong-ju, Director of the Urban Design Division, said, “We have built an innovative program that allows outdoor advertising extensions to be processed online at once, which is expected to greatly contribute to reducing the time and economic burdens of civil petitioners and improving their satisfaction.”
