Namdo-style Comedy Play 'Ojin Nal' to Be Presented

According to Damyang Haedong Culture and Arts Village on the 22nd, this performance, the last of the first half of the year, is prepared to help local residents recover from fatigue during the busy farming season and to comfort visitors to Damyang who are exhausted from daily life due to COVID-19, allowing them to enjoy it with their families.

The Namdo-style comedy play "Ojin Nal" to be held that day comically depicts and wishes that in these times when everything feels stifling and problems do not easily resolve, even tightly blocked matters can suddenly be solved by some incredible coincidence.

In addition, the puppet show "Meokbokkokkuli," which was performed without an audience in April due to COVID-19, will also be presented in advance.

A representative of the Cultural Foundation said, "We hope Haedong Culture and Arts Village will become a place that provides a culture where performing artists and audiences can enjoy themselves happily and that offers the joy of visiting the region."

Along with this, to create a culture together with the county residents at each performance, "Haedong Sik," which offers eco-friendly food made directly by local residents in the Damyang style, is currently being provided as Damyang specialty products due to the ban on gatherings of five or more people inside restaurants.
