Real estate developer GL began contracts for the knowledge industry center ‘GL Metrocity Hangang’ located in the Deogeun Urban Development Project District in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, starting June 21.
‘GL Metrocity Hangang’ is a knowledge industry center consisting of two buildings with a total of 832 units, ranging from basement level 6 to ground level 21. Additionally, an officetel ‘THE GL’ with one building of up to 23 floors, 420 units with exclusive areas of 29 to 60㎡, and neighborhood living facilities (58 units) covering the entire first floor will also be developed.
Hangang River View, Various Specialized Designs, and Well-Connected Transportation Network... Expected to Become a Landmark in Deogeun District
‘GL Metrocity Hangang’ secures a view of the Hangang River. Especially, depending on future development conditions, the view is expected to remain unchanged, allowing permanent enjoyment of the Hangang River.
Along with this, ‘GL Metrocity Hangang’ applies specialized designs tailored to the diverse needs of tenant companies. First, to fully enjoy the Hangang premium, the lobby floor with various community facilities is designed on the 4th floor, not the 1st, so that all tenants can enjoy the Hangang River view. Especially, since the nearby Sangam DMC hosts various broadcasting stations and media-related companies, it is expected to provide a pleasant working environment for media-related industries.
Meanwhile, the officetel ‘THE GL’ constructed in the annex building of ‘GL Metrocity Hangang’ will also be available for sale simultaneously. ‘THE GL’ is composed of 420 units in seven types with exclusive areas ranging from 29 to 60㎡, reflecting diverse lifestyles of demanders. Applications for ‘THE GL’ will be accepted starting Wednesday, June 23. Applications can be made through the Korea Real Estate Board’s subscription homepage.
A sales official stated, “GL Metrocity Hangang is a knowledge industry center that lacks nothing, including Hangang views, transportation, and specialized design, and inquiries from prospective tenant companies have been steadily coming in even before sales started,” adding, “The sales office operates by prior reservation to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and strict compliance with quarantine rules is planned.”
Construction of ‘GL Metrocity Hangang’ and ‘THE GL’ is undertaken by Hyundai Engineering & Construction. The sales office is located in the Goyang-si area of Gyeonggi-do and operates by prior reservation. Reservations for the sales office can be made on the ‘GL Metrocity Hangang’ website.
