Yangsan-si, Deokgye Sports Park to be Completed by the End of This Month

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Yangsan City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 21st that the Deokgye Sports Park construction project will be completed by the end of this month.

This project began in December 2019 with a total budget of 8.9 billion KRW, including 1 billion KRW in national funds and 7.9 billion KRW in city funds, located in San 39-2, Deokgye-dong.

The park covers an area of 16,311㎡ and includes one soccer field, a parking lot (39 spaces), spectator seats (160 seats), restrooms, and simple sports facilities.

Once completed, the park is expected to contribute to the revitalization of citizens' recreational sports by providing sports facilities that were previously lacking in the Deokgye-dong area.

A Yangsan City official said, "Once the sports facilities are completed, they will help promote residents' recreational sports activities and improve health."
