[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 21st that the Gimhae City Gayageum Ensemble will hold its 43rd regular concert titled "Gift" at 7:30 PM on the 24th at the Maru Hall of Gimhae Culture and Arts Center.

The ensemble, founded in 1998, is the only municipal gayageum ensemble in the country, showcasing a diverse and refined world of Korean music including traditional music, contemporary music, instrumental pieces, and vocal works, contributing to promoting Gimhae as a city of culture.

This regular concert, held under the title symbolizing a "gift" to citizens weary from COVID-19, will feature a total of seven pieces including selections from Simcheongga such as Hwacho Taryeong, Nodeulgang Chorokmul, and Carousel.

Additionally, a special stage is prepared featuring performances with players of the sogum, piri, synthesizer, and a geommu dance team, promising an even richer concert experience.

For performance inquiries, contact the manager of the Gimhae City Choir or the Gimhae City Culture and Arts Division. Admission is 3,000 KRW for all seats, and reservations can be made through the Gimhae Culture and Arts Center website.

A Gimhae City official stated, "This is the first regular concert in about two years for the municipal gayageum ensemble, which could not be held last year due to COVID-19. We hope the audience enjoys the rich stage prepared by the members who have honed their skills and forget the heat of the summer night."
