Up to 50% Massive Discounts at Local Government Representative Online Malls Including Namdo Jangteo

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] During the 'Korea Together Sale' starting on the 24th, outstanding local small and medium-sized enterprises and specialty products will reach consumers through an online special sale and live commerce with dramatic discounts.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 21st that 56 representative online malls from local governments nationwide will participate in the Together Sale and offer discounts.

At 16 representative online malls nationwide, including Saiso and Namdo Jangteo, a special Together Sale event will be held where various local specialties such as Korean beef, salted seafood, seafood products, sauces, fruits, vegetables, traditional Korean sweets, herbal teas, honey, and health foods can be purchased at up to 50% discounted prices.

Among the 16 malls, except for Incheon and Gyeongnam, 14 malls will also hold generous gift events during the Together Sale period. Customers who purchase over 30,000 KRW will be entered into a draw to win InBody wearable InBody bands (3 winners), Huplus wireless massage guns (30 winners), BBQ chicken sets (100 winners), and coffee coupons (200 winners).

Additionally, Incheon e-eum Mall will conduct a purchase amount refund event, and e-Gyeongnam Mall will provide local love gift certificates through a draw for customers who purchase above a certain amount.

Besides the 16 regional representative malls, 40 city and county local malls such as Daegu Yakryeong Mall (herbal medicine), Gangwon Pyeongchang Mall (Korean beef), Jeonnam Naju Osaek Village (pears), and Gyeongnam Tongyeong Mall (eel) will also participate in the Together Sale, offering free shipping or discounts up to 50%.

Discount events will also be held at on- and offline local festivals. At the offline Busan Brand Festa (July 9?11), an exhibition hall for excellent small and medium enterprises from Busan will be set up for sales, and the online Gyeongnam Treasure Island Garlic & Korean Beef Festival will be promoted in connection with the Together Sale.

Timon, Auction, and Gmarket will also participate in discounts by dividing the country into regions. Timon will cover the metropolitan and Chungcheong areas, offering popular products such as Daejeon 'Jidopyo Traditional Seaweed' and Yesan Hwangto apples at low prices. Auction will cover Gangwon, Daegu-Gyeongbuk, and Jeju areas, offering dramatic discounts on Chuncheon Dakgalbi, Yakryeong Market herbs, and Jeju black pork belly. Gmarket will cover Honam and Southeast regions, selling local excellent products such as Gat kimchi and black garlic extract at discounted prices.

Local live commerce visiting consumers will be held at the Ulleungdo squid direct sales center and Jeju seaside, and 83 recommended products from local governments nationwide will be sold on Naver Shopping Live, with various buyer benefits such as 1+1 events and live special discounts up to 70%.
