In the metropolitan area, 235 people tested positive. By city/province, the numbers were recorded as follows: Seoul 136, Gyeonggi 90, Daegu 18, Daejeon 15, and Busan 14. Following these were Gyeongnam 13, Chungnam 11, Jeonnam 10, Incheon and Gangwon 9 each, Gyeongbuk 8, Chungbuk, Jeonbuk, and Jeju 3 each, Gwangju 2, and Ulsan 1.
Among the 17 cities and provinces nationwide, Sejong has not yet reported any confirmed cases.
Since there is still time until midnight when the tally closes, the number of new confirmed cases announced as of 0:00 on the 21st is expected to reach around 400.
