Nelly Korda (USA) has secured her second win of the season. On the 20th (Korean time), at the Blythefield Country Club in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA (par 72, 6,556 yards), during the third day of the LPGA Tour Meijer Classic (total prize money $2.3 million), she surged to a 3-stroke lead (20-under par 196) with a daily best score of 10-under par. Leona Maguire (Ireland) is in second place (17-under par 199), and Madelene Sagstrom (Sweden) holds third place (16-under par 200).

Korda was the Gainbridge LPGA Champion just last March. Following her sister Jessica Korda's (USA) victory at the 2021 season opener Diamond Resort Tournament, she made history as the second-ever pair of sisters to win consecutive tournaments, drawing even more spotlight. On this day, she collected 11 birdies (1 bogey). Her 275-yard long drives and 88.89% greens in regulation with pinpoint iron shots stood out, complemented by 25 precise putts.

From Korea, Inbee Park (33, KB Financial Group) is tied for 12th place (12-under par 204). She recorded 1 eagle, 5 birdies, and 3 bogeys. She is focusing on fine-tuning her winning shot feel ahead of the major KPMG Women's PGA Championship starting on the 24th. Jeon In-ji (27, KB Financial Group) and Choi Woon-jung (31, Volvik) joined this group. World No. 1 Ko Jin-young (26) lost 2 strokes and dropped to a tie for 68th place (4-under par 212).
