Starting the First Safety Inspection from the 15th

According to the maintenance industry on the 19th, Garak Ssangyong 1st started the first safety inspection service for remodeling on the 15th. This is one month after selecting the construction company last month. The construction consortium selected consists of Ssangyong Construction, POSCO Construction, Hyundai Engineering, and Daewoo Construction.
Completed in 1997, this apartment complex consists of 14 buildings ranging from 3 basement floors to 24 above-ground floors, with a total of 2,064 households. The construction cost alone reaches 800 billion KRW, making it the largest remodeling project. It is the largest scale and amount in the history of domestic remodeling.
Garak Ssangyong 1st will be transformed into 14 buildings with 5 basement floors to 27 above-ground floors through vertical extension remodeling of 3 floors, increasing the number of households to 2,373. All 309 additional households from the remodeling will be sold to the general public. The existing exclusive area per household will be expanded from 59㎡ for 1,032 households to 74㎡, and from 84㎡ for 1,032 households to 104㎡.
The number of parking spaces will also increase from 2,022 to 3,590. On the top floor, three sky community spaces and one sky rooftop garden will be created for residents.
Meanwhile, other apartment complexes in the Garak and Munjeong-dong areas are also actively pursuing remodeling. "Garak Kumho" has exceeded a 50% resident consent rate for remodeling and is encouraging reaching 67% to establish a union. "Garak Sanga 2nd" and "Munjeong Raemian" launched remodeling promotion committees last month. Additionally, "Munjeong Siyoung" and "Munjeong Geonyeong" are speeding up by selecting construction companies for remodeling projects after passing the first safety inspection.
