Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Yoo Geun-gi) has started providing a mobile-based smart tourism electronic map service that delivers local tourism information in electronic form.

The smart tourism electronic map does not require a separate app installation. You can use it immediately by typing ‘Gokseong Jeonjado’ in the search bar of major domestic portal sites on your smartphone.

The main categories searchable on the Gokseong-gun smart tourism electronic map include tourist attractions, cultural heritage, festival and event schedules, restaurants, and accommodations. It also offers tourist location display linked with GPS, route guidance service connected with Kakao and T-map navigation, and reservation site connections through homepage links. A county official stated, “The tourism electronic map allows visitors to conveniently find hidden tourist spots in Gokseong with just a phone, without the inconvenience of paper maps. This is expected to elevate the quality of travel in Gokseong to a new level.” He added, “To commemorate the launch of the smart tourism electronic map service, we are also preparing a stamp tour based on the electronic map.
