[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 18th that it held an explanatory meeting on the Rural New Vitality Plus (hereinafter referred to as the New Vitality Project) at the Agricultural Technology Center's 2nd-floor Agricultural Education Hall.

About 40 people attended the meeting, including coordinators from various fields of the New Vitality Project Promotion Team and academy trainees who participated in online education from the end of February to May.

At this explanatory meeting, the Promotion Team provided guidance on understanding the Rural New Vitality Project, its main business contents, and the project implementation process.

To increase participation among residents working in various fields, additional education for the Wild Ginseng New Vitality Academy is planned for July.

On this day, County Governor Seo Chun-soo said, “We ask for active participation to ensure the successful promotion of the Hamyang-gun Rural New Vitality Project,” and added, “We promise to make the Hamyang Wild Ginseng Anti-aging Expo, to be held in September, an international event and anti-aging health fair suitable for the non-face-to-face era with safety as the top priority, and we ask for your great interest and participation.”

Meanwhile, Hamyang-gun is realizing the vision of ‘Advancement and Globalization of Hamyang Wild Ginseng’ through the Rural New Vitality Project, a public contest project by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, by fostering key driving forces leading the future of the wild ginseng anti-aging industry and accumulating internal capabilities such as research and development of wild ginseng.
