Securities Plus Unlisted Surpasses 100,000 Cumulative Transactions in One and a Half Years Since Launch

[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] The unlisted stock trading platform 'Securities Plus Unlisted' has surpassed 100,000 cumulative transactions just 1 year and 6 months after its launch.

Dunamu, the operator of Upbit, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in Korea, announced on the 18th that its over-the-counter stock trading platform 'Securities Plus Unlisted' recorded a cumulative total of 100,120 transactions as of the 8th. This achievement was made within 1 year and 6 months of its launch.

The number of members also increased to 500,000 as of last April. Monthly active users (MAU) more than doubled from 130,000 in January to 300,000 in April. The cumulative number of downloads surpassed 700,000 this month, securing an overwhelming first place, according to the company.

The platform added advanced features such as the industry's first securities firm safe trading service linkage and a 24-hour reservation order function. This, combined with the large-scale initial public offering (IPO) boom continuing since the second half of last year, attracted individual investors, the company explained.

A Dunamu representative said, "Achieving 100,000 cumulative transactions is a meaningful milestone demonstrating the leap of Securities Plus Unlisted and serves as an indicator confirming the growth of the domestic unlisted stock market. We will continue to contribute to the healthy development of the market and strive to improve the investment culture as Korea's leading integrated unlisted stock trading platform."
