[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] The Gyeongsangnam-do Social Service Institute held a forum on the 18th under the theme "Emergency Gap Care and Social Service Institute."
The forum was a policy discussion meeting held to share experiences and success cases of emergency gap care after COVID-19 and to explore directions for the development of social services.
The forum consisted of a presentation of in-depth interview survey results with care service providers and service users by Park Haegung, chief researcher at the Social Service Institute, a case presentation by Kim Ikjung, director of the Gyeongsangnam-do Community Care Center, and expert discussions.
Additionally, field experts and provincial council members attended to exchange various opinions related to emergency gap care.
The emergency gap care project dispatches professional care personnel to homes and social welfare facilities to provide care services while living with individuals in self-quarantine or confirmed patients.
Through the Social Service Institute's emergency gap care support, care services were provided to a total of 10 people (103 days in total) in Geoje City, Gimhae City, and others.
Forum materials can be found in the research data room on the Gyeongsangnam-do Social Service Institute website.
