[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Seo Young-seo] On the 18th, Anyang-myeon, Jangheung-gun, Jeonnam, announced that on the 16th, in collaboration with the Anyang Police Substation, they conducted a joint inspection for illegal hidden cameras in public restrooms (5 locations), government offices, and welfare centers within the jurisdiction to create a women-friendly city environment.
During this inspection, to detect any potentially installed illegal hidden cameras, specialized detection equipment such as radio wave detectors and lens detectors were used, confirming that all locations were free of abnormalities. Additionally, they conducted focused disinfection management to prevent infectious diseases during the summer by checking the cleanliness of the restrooms.
Yoon Yang-hyun, head of Anyang-myeon, stated, “We will do our best to regularly inspect illegal cameras and cleanliness in public restrooms within the region to create public restrooms where all residents, including women, can use with peace of mind.”
