The new products include ▲ Onion Flower Bread ‘The Onion Flower Has Bloomed’ filled with four kinds of toppings and crispy onions ▲ Cream Cheese Onion Bread ‘I Am Muan Onion’ shaped like a cross-section of Muan onions ▲ Onion Rings ‘You and My Onion Ring’ loved by people of all ages ▲ Pizza Bread ‘Moon Embracing Onion’ containing onion, ham, cheese, and corn, making up the four types.
Muan onions are characterized by their crisp texture and strong aroma, grown in high-quality yellow soil and exposed to sea breeze that protects against pests and diseases. Especially, fresh onions have high sugar content and a soft texture, making them ideal for use in bakery desserts.
On the 15th, SPC Group signed a win-win cooperation agreement with Muan County, Jeollanam-do, to develop products using Muan onions, which are facing price collapse and difficulties in securing sales channels due to overproduction this year, and to promote consumption.
