Purpose of Preventing COVID-19 Spread and Creating Jobs for Small Business Owners on Leave or Closed
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 17th that it will implement the 'Small Business Owner Quarantine Support Project' to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and to create jobs for small business owners who are on leave or have closed their businesses.
This project will be carried out from July 5 to November 5. It will employ 127 quarantine personnel to disinfect small business stores that are in quarantine blind spots.
Applicants for quarantine personnel must be between 18 and under 65 years old with the ability to work. Preference will be given to small business owners who are on leave or have closed their businesses, vulnerable groups, heads of households, and those with quarantine experience.
Those wishing to become quarantine personnel can apply in person at the small business owner department of their respective city, county, or district office from the 17th to the 23rd.
A brief interview will be conducted upon application submission, so applicants must make an appointment by phone in advance before visiting.
Selected quarantine personnel will work in pairs, three hours a day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on weekdays, five days a week.
Additionally, guidance on voluntary quarantine will be provided concurrently to small business store owners.
