Hana Bank Obtains Nationally Certified Information Security and Personal Data Protection Management System Certification

Hana Bank obtained the nationally certified Information Security and Personal Information Protection Management System (ISMS-P) certification and held a certificate awarding ceremony at the Financial Security Institute on the afternoon of the 14th. [Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hana Bank announced on the 17th that it has obtained the 'Nationally Certified Information Security and Personal Information Protection Management System (ISMS-P) Certification' from the Financial Security Institute.

ISMS-P is the highest authority integrated certification system for information security and personal information protection management in Korea, jointly announced by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Personal Information Protection Commission. It requires passing the Financial Security Institute's audit on 80 information security management standards and 22 personal information protection management standards.

Hana Bank explained, "With this certification, we have met the nationally and internationally recognized standards that financial companies must comply with for information security and personal information protection, and have objectively verified the reliability and stability of our information security system."

Previously, Hana Bank obtained the nationally certified Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification related to digital banking service operations, the international standard Information Security Management System (ISO27001) certification for all global regional centers, and the international standard Personal Information Protection (ISO27701) certification.
