[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is accepting applications for the second small business management environment improvement project for small business owners until the 30th to enhance their competitiveness.

The support target is small business owners who have been operating for more than six months as of the registration date on their business registration certificate (as of the 11th announcement date) and are Zero Pay affiliated stores (same-day applicants are allowed).

However, companies operated by large corporations as franchise direct stores or franchisees, non-store businesses, businesses engaged in entertainment and luxury industries, speculative industries, businesses that are temporarily closed or out of business, those with overdue national or local taxes, or those who have received support for the same or similar business within the last five years are excluded from support.

The support includes store management environment improvements (replacement of outdoor signs, interior and exterior decoration improvements, restroom improvements, purchase of display stands and standing table sets, POS system installation, quarantine facility installation, etc.) and promotional support (website construction, promotional material production).

A total of about 23 companies will be selected, and 80% of the facility improvement costs (supply price) per store will be supported up to a limit of 2 million KRW. In the first project, 51 companies were selected and the project is underway.

A county official said, “This project aims to reduce the operating cost burden for small business owners. In line with the increasing trend of online delivery orders, we have newly added support areas such as store promotional video production, company design support, and product packaging (packaging containers, shopping bags). We encourage small business owners in need to apply.”
