SW-Centered University Project Group Total Prize Money 10 Million Won
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Dongseo University is gathering artificial intelligence ideas to realize the future.
The SW-Centered University Project Group at Dongseo University (President Jang Je-guk) is holding the "2nd Future World Changed by Artificial Intelligence Content Contest."
The contest is hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation, and Busan City, with support from the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education.
The purpose of this contest is to collect and share various ideas about the future society transformed by artificial intelligence and technology in diverse forms.
It was first held last year to spread awareness of AI and SW. This year, the scale of awards has been further expanded.
Through the contest, it is expected not only to present images of future society through new technologies such as AI and SW and creatively expressed dynamic content but also to demonstrate that artificial intelligence is becoming generalized and universalized in the public's daily life.
The themes are to choose between "My AI (Artificial Intelligence) Usage Experience" and "Life in 2030 Brought by AI (Artificial Intelligence)," and the work format can be selected from video, poster, or webtoon.
Anyone residing in Korea can participate individually or as a team, divided into student division (elementary, middle, and high school students) and general division (university students and general public).
The total prize money is 10 million KRW. ▲In the student division, the Grand Prize receives the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Award (3 works, 700,000 KRW per format), Excellence Award (6 teams, 300,000 KRW each), and Encouragement Award (9 teams, 200,000 KRW each).
▲In the general division, the Grand Prize receives the Dongseo University President Award (prize money 1,000,000 KRW), Excellence Award (3 teams, 500,000 KRW each), and Encouragement Award (6 teams, 300,000 KRW each).
The contest submission period is until July 28, and detailed information can be found on the contest website.
