Gwangjin-gu Hosts 'Achasan Healing Concert'

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) and the Gwangjin Cultural Center held the ‘Achasan Healing Concert’ at Gwangjin Supnaru on the 15th.

This concert was organized to provide residents with opportunities to enjoy culture and arts close to their daily lives through cultural events that directly visit the community.

On this day, five teams including local cultural artists and clubs from the Gwangjin Cultural Center participated, presenting various performances to comfort residents weary from COVID-19.

The event began with a classical performance by the ‘Muralcle Orchestra,’ followed by a traditional dance performance by the ‘Hanyang Chumgil Art Troupe,’ and a poetry recital and free dance creative performance by ‘Healing Go-eun Poetry Recital.’

Next, the ‘Gwangjin Acoustic Guitar Club’ performed acoustic guitar pieces, and the concert concluded with a percussion performance by the ‘Sinnanta Group Ondal and Pyeonggang.’

Mayor Kim Seon-gap said, “I hope this performance provides a small rest in daily life for residents tired from COVID-19 and also becomes a place where local cultural artists going through difficult times can freely express their artistic activities. We will continue to create an environment where residents can enjoy culture and arts anytime and anywhere.”
