AI-based natural language processing specialist company Muhayu Co., Ltd. announced that its API-type plagiarism detection service ‘CK Bridge-Copykiller,’ the only one in Korea compatible with e-learning systems, has obtained the GS Certification Grade 1 from the Korea Information and Communication Technology Association.
The GS Certification is a national certification system that tests functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability, reliability, and security based on the international standards ISO/IEC 25023, 25041, and 25051. The Korea Information and Communication Technology Association (TTA) and the Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL) conduct tests under conditions identical to actual service operation environments to objectively evaluate the software’s technical quality and operational stability.
Obtaining the GS Certification allows support for direct contracts with purchasing agencies through the Public Procurement Service’s third-party unit price contract and registration on the government procurement platform, Nara Market, as well as designation as a priority purchase technology development product for public institutions.
CK Bridge-Copykiller integrates with LMS (Learning Management System) to support instructors in easily checking and evaluating plagiarism in assignments submitted by students. A key feature is that plagiarism checks are performed in real-time as soon as assignments are submitted, enabling quick and easy verification of plagiarism results.
CK Bridge can detect plagiarism between assignments submitted by students within the same assignment or school. This helps prevent dishonest practices by students using pre-written answers traded as so-called ‘jokbo,’ thereby increasing instructor satisfaction.
Additionally, CK Bridge-Copykiller applies AI technology to distinguish document sections such as covers, scriptures, laws, and surveys, which should not be considered plagiarism, accurately separating them to prevent false plagiarism detection, thus providing more precise plagiarism check results.
Kim Hee-su, COO of Muhayu, stated, “Due to the impact of COVID-19, LMS platforms have become so active that over 20,000 documents can be uploaded at once in a large university in a single day. We believe that obtaining the internationally standardized GS Certification Grade 1 proves that our service can operate stably even in complex environments. We will continue to focus on accurate plagiarism detection and stable service operation.”
