KDT Korea Diamond Exchange Introduces 'Diamond Care Rental Service'

KDT Korea Diamond Exchange announced the introduction of the 'Care Rental Service.'

KDT Korea Diamond Exchange recently launched the country's first long-term diamond rental service through 'AllThatShopping,' a shopping platform operated by Shinhan Card.

With this service, customers can rent diamond rings, necklaces, earrings, and other related jewelry items for long periods ranging from 12 months up to 36 months.

As demand for diamond wedding gifts continues to rise, and with the MZ generation?who prefer sharing and rental services?emerging as key customers in the wedding gift market, interest in this newly introduced diamond rental service is expected to be high.

In particular, since the service is launched through AllThatShopping, used by 26 million people, via collaboration between the country's largest diamond exchange and Shinhan Card, it is anticipated to significantly enhance consumer satisfaction.

Special benefits for Care Rental Service users are also noteworthy. Customers can change the design up to twice for free during the rental period, and a regular maintenance system is provided to keep the jewelry in optimal condition.

Additionally, after the contract period ends, customers can either own the product or return it and receive up to 70% of the original consumer price back. If they wish to upgrade to a larger diamond, price support of up to 80% is available.

For those who already own diamond rings or have purchased diamonds as wedding gifts and are married, they can apply for the rental service by paying an additional 100,000 KRW to change their desired design not only for rings but also for necklaces or earrings. This is also useful for those who are dissatisfied with the design of their existing diamonds or need diamond products for daily use.

A representative from KDT Korea Diamond Exchange stated, "All diamond products provided through the long-term rental service consist of GIA diamonds, which are the most credible worldwide. We expect high interest from consumers who want to use the same diamonds used by luxury brands at an affordable price," adding, "As the largest diamond company in Korea, we aim to revitalize the stagnant wedding gift market through groundbreaking initiatives and offer consumers a new joy in diamond consumption."
