According to quarantine authorities on the 15th, a man in his 60s, Mr. A, living in Yeongdeok, was found dead at home around 7 a.m. on the 14th.
Mr. A experienced lethargy starting on the 12th after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine on the 11th. He had been diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage in 2017.
Earlier, on the 13th, an 80-year-old woman, Ms. B, living in Gyeongju, died in a hospital.
Ms. B received the Pfizer vaccine on the 25th of last month and had been receiving treatment at a hospital since the 9th of this month for dizziness and fatigue. She had underlying health conditions.
Health authorities are investigating whether there is a causal relationship between the vaccine and the deaths.
