[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol) Seoul Korean Medicine Promotion Center (Seoul Yakryeongsi Korean Medicine Museum) announced that it will operate a ‘Naver Shopping Live Special Exhibition’ where excellent Korean medicine products can be sold non-face-to-face for small business owners in Seoul Yakryeongsi who are suffering economic losses due to COVID-19.


The ‘Naver Shopping Live Special Exhibition’ is a shopping event provided by the portal site Naver, with a total of 10 Seoul Yakryeongsi Korean medicine stores participating. From June 17 to July 8, every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., excellent Korean medicine products will be sold over 4 days.


▲ On June 17, products such as ‘Geumjeoncho Chagasi Leaf Tea’, ‘Crow Tree Fruit’, ‘Daeokdan’, and ‘Pumpkin Red Bean Tea’ ▲ On June 24, ‘Red Ginseng Cheonma Tea’, ‘Fresh Red Ginseng Pills’, ‘Deer Antler Burodan’, ‘Organic Sprout Powder’, and ‘Bitter Melon Pills’ ▲ On July 1, ‘Domestic Astragalus’ and ‘Natural Korean Medicine Digestive Medicine’ ▲ On July 8, about 20 products including ‘Blood-Cleansing Syrup’, ‘Balloon Flower Candy’, ‘Korean Medicine Oranda’, ‘Korean Medicine 4-Item Fermented Tea Set’, and ‘Fermented Angelica Tea’ will be sold.


Customers purchasing during the broadcast can buy products at discounts of up to 45% compared to prices sold at existing stores, and additional gifts such as ‘Portable Pill Container’ and ‘Small Digestive Medicine’ will be given depending on the product.

As part of efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Seoul Korean Medicine Promotion Center (Seoul Yakryeongsi Korean Medicine Museum), which was temporarily closed, has provided non-face-to-face education and experiences through its website and SNS channels. It partially reopened on January 21 and currently allows museum visits with limited numbers of people per time slot while strictly adhering to quarantine rules.
