Hyundai Engineering to Launch Sales in June on Taepyeong-ro, Emerging as a Premium Residential Road

The Taepyeong-ro area centered around Daegu Station is emerging as Daegu's premium residential road. Following the successive construction of high-rise popular brand apartments around Taepyeong-ro, the value of these complexes has significantly increased, leading the local market prices.


In fact, several popular brand apartments supplied by major construction companies, including the highly preferred local Hillsstate, as well as △Xi △Prugio △Jeil Punggyeongchae △W, have been built in the Taepyeong-ro area.


Additionally, new apartment supplies through redevelopment projects such as Life Shopping Center, 77 Taepyeong Apartments, and 78 Taepyeong Apartments are planned by major construction companies, and it is expected that a branded apartment village with more than 7,400 households will be formed in this area.


The Taepyeong-ro area is traditionally considered a highly preferred region due to its dense infrastructure including transportation, commerce, administration, and business. The addition of nearby brand apartments supplied by major construction companies to the preferred location has also driven prices upward.


For example, the exclusive 84㎡ unit of ‘Daegu Station Central Xi,’ which can be considered the starting point of the Taepyeong-ro premium road, was traded in March for about 400 million KRW higher than the pre-sale price, at 743 million KRW. Now, the price has risen further, with high-floor listings reaching 800 million KRW.


Even the value of pre-sale rights for complexes where transactions are possible before completion is soaring. In April, the pre-sale right for ‘Hillsstate Dowon Central’ (84㎡ exclusive) was traded at 789.09 million KRW, followed by △Hillsstate Daegu Station Opera at 709.05 million KRW △Daegu Opera Switzen at 702.3 million KRW, all forming premiums in the ‘hundreds of millions’ range.


A local real estate expert said, “Taepyeong-ro, traditionally regarded as Daegu’s largest central area, already has well-established various living infrastructures, making it highly preferred by demanders. Recently, as high-rise apartments of popular brands have been established as a new affluent area, many demanders are willing to pay premiums to move in here.”


Given this situation, demanders aiming to enter the Taepyeong-ro premium road are focusing on nearby new pre-sale complexes. Using subscription savings accounts allows entry into Taepyeong-ro at a reasonable price.


The most representative complex is ‘Hillsstate Dongin,’ supplied by Hyundai Engineering. This complex is not only located on the Taepyeong-ro premium road but also attracts early attention from demanders as it is supplied under the ‘Hillsstate’ brand, which has already proven its popularity on Taepyeong-ro.


Hyundai Engineering plans to pre-sell ‘Hillsstate Dongin’ this month in the Jung-gu area of Daegu. It will be a residential-commercial complex consisting of 5 buildings with 941 apartment units and 68 residential officetels, ranging from 4 basement floors to a maximum of 49 floors above ground, along with commercial facilities covering approximately 11,419㎡ of total floor area.


The most notable point is the locational advantage of being able to enjoy the core infrastructure of Taepyeong-ro nearby.


The complex is located in a station area within walking distance of Chilseong Market Station and Jungangno Station on Daegu Subway Line 1, as well as Lotte Department Store Daegu Branch, Daegu Department Store, and Dongseong-ro, known as Daegu’s top commercial district. Nearby are the National Debt Repayment Movement Memorial Park, 2·28 Memorial Central Park, Lotte Cinema, and CGV, making it ideal for enjoying leisure and culture.
