[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] G9, operated by eBay Korea, announced on the 14th that it will exclusively sell the '265th Anniversary Limited Edition Set' from the Austrian luxury wine glass brand 'RIEDEL' until the 30th.


The 265th Anniversary Limited Edition Set consists of a total of five types. These include ▲Decanter Syrah, which maximizes the taste and aroma of wine, ▲Veritas Cabernet·Merlot 4P for red wine, ▲Veritas New World Pinot Noir 4P, ▲Veritas Champagne Wine Glass 4P for sparkling wine, and ▲'O' Cabernet·Merlot Value Pack 6P. All limited edition sets are sold at a 25% discount off the regular price.


Credit card discount benefits are also offered. A '10% discount coupon' exclusive to KB, Lotte, and NH cards is provided up to three times per ID. With the card discount applied, the 'Decanter Syrah' can be purchased for 41,850 KRW, and the 'Veritas Cabernet·Merlot 4P' for 132,300 KRW.


Additionally, RIEDEL's popular wine glasses are sold at discounts of up to 30%. Featured collections include the striking and captivating 'Red Tie & Black Tie', grape variety-specific glasses 'Sommelier', ultra-light handmade products 'Superleggero', and the casual yet modern 'O Series' suitable for enjoying at home or outdoors.

Meanwhile, as the home drinking trend continues, demand for wine accessories is also rising significantly. G9 reported that from January to May this year, sales volume of wine accessories increased by more than double (124%) compared to the same period last year. With premium products gaining popularity, the average purchase price per customer also rose by 10% overall. In particular, average prices for wine racks (75%), wine decanters (45%), wine glasses (31%), and wine coolers/buckets (21%) showed an upward trend. It was also found that women (54%) purchase more wine accessories than men (46%).
