From Education to Employment Connection... Providing Various Opportunities for Youth
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Songpa-gu (Mayor Park Seong-su) is recently launching a program to train deep learning developers, a field with high corporate recruitment demand.
Deep Learning is a technology that enables computers to learn to perform tasks such as voice recognition, image identification, and prediction, replacing human work.
In particular, as a core technology necessary for Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, companies are increasingly seeking talent with deep learning development capabilities.
Accordingly, the district will operate the ‘Practical Project-Based Deep Learning Developer Training Course’ for the first time to cultivate future-oriented young talent.
This training consists of ▲Deep Learning Java Common Course ▲Practical Project, conducted over a total of 22 sessions and 176 hours.
The training runs from June 28 to July 27 and is completely free of charge.
The ‘Deep Learning Java Common Course’ is designed to teach various technologies for web application development, utilization of Open API (Open Application Programming Interface), data collection, and more.
The ‘Practical Project Course’ focuses on training in technologies that are in high demand by companies for recruitment. It will include developing API servers using Spring Boot, which helps quickly build web servers, and planning and producing screen processing projects using the JavaScript library React.
The district plans to support graduates of the training with employment mentoring, participation in job fairs, and linking employment with companies that have deep learning developer recruitment needs.
Anyone aged 19 to 39 residing in Seoul who is unemployed can apply. After a separate screening process, 30 candidates will be selected on June 25.
Applications can be submitted by downloading the application form from the ‘Deep Learning Developer Course Recruitment Website’ by June 23, filling it out, and sending it via email to socialheadhunter@naver.com.
For other inquiries, contact the Songpa-gu Job Policy Officer or the Seoul Northeast Region Enterprise Development Association.
Mayor Park Seong-su of Songpa-gu stated, “We will nurture specialized talent that meets the rapidly changing workforce demand of the Fourth Industrial Revolution environment to support the creation of jobs unique to Songpa, and furthermore, provide young people with various opportunities and hope.”
Meanwhile, since 2019, the district has been promoting the cultivation of specialized personnel based on the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry to nurture core talent in the Fourth Industrial Revolution field. Through education in cybersecurity, digital media marketing, and other areas, 48 young people have succeeded in finding employment in related fields as of last year.
