Eunpyeong-gu, Recruiting 50 College Students for Summer Vacation Part-Time Jobs

Administrative Support at District Offices and Libraries for 4 Weeks Starting July 5

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) will select 50 university students to operate a part-time job program from July 5 to July 30, allowing them to experience administrative work during the 2021 summer vacation period.

The university student part-time job program operated by the district is a project that allows local university students residing in the area to directly participate in district administration and experience various administrative sites firsthand during the summer and winter vacation periods every year.

Those who wish to apply for the summer vacation university student part-time job can apply through the district office website from June 11 to June 17.

The recruitment target is university students registered as residents in Eunpyeong-gu or students attending universities located in Eunpyeong-gu.

The university students selected through a computerized lottery on June 21 will register from June 22 to 25 and then understand the flow of district administration work at community service centers, the district office, libraries, museums, and other places, gaining unique social experience at public institutions.

Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, “In these times when employment is difficult due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, I hope this part-time job will serve as a stepping stone for students, and if the residents and our university students overcome COVID-19 together in daily life, we will be able to create a better future more quickly.”
