[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jung-gu District Office (Mayor Seoyangho) has published a white paper titled 'Jung-gu for the Future, Flex! Jung-gu Academic Counseling Center,' summarizing the achievements of the Jung-gu Academic Counseling Center over the past two years.
Since the launch of the 7th local government, Mayor Seoyangho of Jung-gu has generously supported investments for future generations under the slogan "Making Jung-gu a great place to raise children."
In 2019, following active requests for permanent consulting at a large parent debate, the Jung-gu Academic Counseling Center opened its doors in March of the same year.
Currently, the Jung-gu Academic Counseling Center is located on the first floor of Iro-um at the Jung-gu Education Support Center, which serves as the control tower for education in Jung-gu, alleviating the concerns of local students and parents regarding academic advancement and career paths.
The white paper compiles the fruits achieved together with students and parents over the past two years, the process they have gone through, and all the programs currently available at the center.

In particular, regarding the admission rate of general high schools in Jung-gu, it soared vertically from 61.8% in 2018, ranking 18th among Seoul's autonomous districts, to 70.7% in 2020, ranking 4th, achieving first place in Seoul for admission rate growth.
'Flex! Jung-gu Academic Counseling Center' introduces the center's unique features and vision, annual programs, and roadmap to assist students' convenience of use. Photos from the past two years are also included chronologically.
'Introduction to Jung-gu Academic Counseling Center' provides information on how to use the center along with an introduction to the professional consultants leading Jung-gu's exclusive 'zero-cost' high-quality private admission consulting.
Additionally, it includes ongoing representative programs and the results of past programs to help current students in the area refer to them for use.
