Gwangju City Establishes New Express Bus Route 3100 Connecting Gosan, Taejeon to Pangyo Gwangju City Hall, Gyeonggi Province

[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] The direct seat bus number 3100, running between Gosan District in Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi Province and Pangyo 2nd Techno Valley, will start operation from the 14th.


According to Gwangju City on the 11th, the number 3100 bus, which will use the national highway No. 3 (Seongnam Icheon-ro), a road exclusively for automobiles, will operate 8 buses with intervals of 15 to 25 minutes, running 44 times a day.


Accordingly, the wide-area buses operating in the Taejeon District are a total of 34 buses: G3202 (Samsung Station) 10 buses, 3201 (Yangjae~Seoul Station) 10 buses, 1005 (Gangnam Station) 6 buses, and 3100 (Pangyo Station) 8 buses.


The route of the 3100 bus in Gwangju City passes through ▲Opo Woolim Apartments ▲Gosan Kumho Bestville ▲Taejeon Hillstate District 7 ▲Taejeon e-Pyeon Sesang Phase 1 ▲Taejeon I-Park, Taeseong Elementary School, Taejeon Hillstate District 5 ▲Taejeon-dong Sungwon Apartments ▲Taejeon-dong e-Pyeon Sesang Phase 2 back gate.


The Seongnam City section includes ▲Seongnam City Hall ▲Yatap Station ▲north side of Pangyo Station.


The city expects that the establishment of this route will improve public transportation conditions for commuters between Gwangju and Seongnam.


Meanwhile, the number 3100 bus will be operated privately by Daewon Bus Co., Ltd., under the jurisdiction of Seongnam City, and Gwangju City and Seongnam City have agreed to cooperate in reflecting this route in the Gyeonggi-do public bus (quasi-public) system.
