[Muan＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Jeonnam Muan Fire Station (Chief Park Won-guk) announced on the 11th that it conducted on-site experiential learning and fire safety education using a mobile safety experience vehicle for 11 children from Sohee Kindergarten who visited the Muan Fire Station.
This experiential learning was organized to raise safety awareness among kindergarten children and to improve the safety management capabilities of the teachers leading the on-site experiential learning.
The main contents included a fire station tour, evacuation procedures during a fire, how to call 119 in an emergency, practical training using the mobile safety experience vehicle on earthquake and fire evacuation, and compliance with personal hygiene rules to prevent COVID-19 infection.
The fire station received a positive response by providing education using fire safety training equipment tailored to the children's level of understanding.
Chief Park Won-guk said, "I hope that the fire station tour served as an opportunity to prevent accidents involving children who are easily exposed to various safety hazards and to raise their safety awareness."
