Nancy Lang Wins Appeal in Divorce Lawsuit Against Wang Jinjin

[Asia Economy Reporter Bae Kyunghwan] Pop artist Nancy Lang won the appeal in her divorce lawsuit against her husband Wang Jinjin (real name Jeon Junju).

According to the legal community on the 11th, the Seoul Family Court Family Appeal Division 1 (Chief Judge Jeong Seungwon) ruled in favor of Nancy Lang in the divorce lawsuit against Mr. Wang, ordering "the two shall divorce," the same as the first trial, granting partial plaintiff victory.

Nancy Lang, who surprised everyone by announcing that she had registered her marriage with Mr. Wang in December 2017, filed for divorce against him in April 2019. Mr. Wang appealed the first trial's divorce ruling but was dismissed.

If this ruling is finalized, the legal divorce procedure between Nancy Lang and Mr. Wang will be completed.

Meanwhile, Mr. Wang was sentenced to six years in prison in the first trial for charges of threatening to distribute private videos of Nancy Lang, as well as confinement and assault.
