Joo Ho-young on Yoon Seok-yeol's Corruption Investigation Office Probe: "'Yoon Seok-yeol Ousting' Followed by a 'Killing' Plan"

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyun-joo] Joo Ho-young, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, criticized the High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Agency (PCA) for launching an investigation into former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, saying, "The Moon Jae-in administration has finally revealed its true colors."

On the 10th, Joo wrote on Facebook, "They said they were steadily accumulating the 'Yoon Seok-yeol file,' and now the regime is fully exposing its true face against former Prosecutor General Yoon," adding, "This administration is using the charge of 'abuse of authority' like a trump card. It's a plan of 'ousting Yoon Seok-yeol' followed by 'killing Yoon Seok-yeol.'"

He continued, "It was the Moon Jae-in administration that raised Yoon Seok-yeol to become the leading presidential candidate of the current broad opposition," and pointed out, "The more the Moon Jae-in administration tries to kill Yoon Seok-yeol, the greater the public resistance against the Moon Jae-in administration will become."

Joo said, "The reason why the government and ruling party finally forced the launch of the PCA by even taking away the opposition's veto power has been revealed in a naked way," and added, "As expected, I cannot help but be outraged at the PCA acting like Jo Ja-ryong using an old sword to 'kill Yoon Seok-yeol' according to the government's taste."

He warned, "It is obvious as if seeing fire that the abuse of the abuse of authority charge will eventually boomerang back to the Moon Jae-in administration."
