[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] The party member voting rate for the People Power Party's next leadership election was reported to be 45.36%, according to the Party Convention Election Commission on the 10th.

According to the Election Commission, this figure was the result of combining mobile voting conducted on the 7th and 8th and the automated response system (ARS) voting held from the previous day until 5 p.m. on the day. This is the highest rate since the introduction of the responsible party member voting system in 2014 at the Saenuri Party (the predecessor of the People Power Party) convention. At that time, the voting rate was 31.76%.

The most recent convention, the 2019 Liberty Korea Party convention, had a final voting rate of 24.58%.
