Operation of 'Contactless Job Kiosk' in Seo-gu, Gwangju


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Dae-seok) announced on the 9th that it will operate the 'Non-face-to-face Job Kiosk,' which provides non-face-to-face digital recruitment and one-stop job information, for the first time among autonomous districts in Gwangju at the Nongsong Station Youth Startup Platform ‘Seo-gu START UP center’.


The 'Non-face-to-face Job Kiosk' uses AI technology to integrate recruitment information from the Ministry of Employment and Labor's Worknet and various private employment portals to provide customized job information in real time.


It is also equipped with a non-face-to-face digital recruitment system function that proactively responds to the recruitment market changes toward non-face-to-face methods following the spread of COVID-19.


Through AI facial recognition, it recognizes the job seeker's age and gender, links the information to recommend suitable customized jobs, and provides various job-seeking content such as job tests and resume photo shooting.


Seo-gu plans to intensively recruit excellent local companies that will hire talent through non-face-to-face digital recruitment by the 15th and plans to expand to recruiting companies in other autonomous districts, including the metropolitan area.


Recruited companies pre-register interview questions by job category, and job seekers conduct video interviews with the desired companies through kiosks installed in the center, which are then transmitted to the companies.


Seo-gu plans to resolve job mismatches between recruiting companies and job seekers by simplifying unnecessary recruitment procedures and overcoming spatial and temporal constraints through non-face-to-face digital recruitment.


A Seo-gu official said, “In line with the post-COVID-19 era, we will do our best to increase employment rates through non-face-to-face digital recruitment via kiosks and provide various employment and startup information in real time to ensure citizens' employment success.”
