Hosted by the National Institute for International Education, Participation in the 'Korean Study Abroad Fair with Local Governments'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 9th that it will actively promote the attraction of outstanding international students to enhance the global competitiveness of universities in the province.
The province is participating in the "Korea Study Abroad Fair with Local Governments" held at the National Institute for International Education under the Ministry of Education until the 21st to promote universities in the province.
The study abroad fair, held through the Korea Study Abroad Comprehensive System, is a program that provides admission information and regional information of local universities online to the world.
The province is participating for the first time this year, together with six universities in the Gyeongnam region: Gyeongsang National University, Gyeongnam University, Inje University, Youngsan University, Gaya University, and Masan University.
This year's fair is conducted non-face-to-face and online due to COVID-19, with promotional booths and real-time 1:1 consultation desks operating for two weeks.
Additionally, on the 25th, the province will hold the "Gyeongsangnam-do China International Students Online University Briefing Session" together with the Gyeongsangnam-do Office in Shandong Province, China.
This briefing session will promote universities in the Gyeongnam region in real time, share admission briefing materials, and proceed with a Q&A session.
Promotional materials for local universities unable to participate will also be provided to accelerate the attraction of outstanding international students.
