Coffee Bean Installs 'Philips UV-C Sterilizer' in Stores

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Coffee Bean Korea announced on the 8th that it installed the 'Philips UV-C Ceiling Sterilizer' inside the Coffee Bean Gwanghwamun store through collaboration with Signify Korea (formerly Philips Lighting Korea).

The Philips UV-C Ceiling Sterilizer is a commercial sterilizer that can be installed in offices and retail stores, and it sterilizes 99.99% of numerous bacteria and viruses, including COVID-19, in indoor air. It is made with a special UV-C device that sterilizes only air above 2.1 meters, helping continuous sterilization of indoor air. Additionally, it is designed to emit light only to the upper part of the room for safety.
