The voter turnout for the People Power Party's next leadership election among party members recorded about 26% on the first day.

According to the People Power Party on the 7th, mobile voting was conducted for party member electors from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day, resulting in a turnout rate of 25.83%.

This surpasses the turnout rates of 20.57% in the February 27, 2019 convention, when mobile voting was introduced, and 20.89% in the 2017 convention.

The increased turnout is attributed to the "Lee Jun-seok phenomenon" as well as the impact of COVID-19, which led to an untact convention and increased the proportion of mobile voting.
