VT GMP Ranks No.1 in Beauty and Overall on Japan's Qoo10... Standing Tall as a Leading K-Beauty Icon

VT Cosmetic announced on the 7th that its ‘Cica Daily Soothing Mask’ achieved the ‘Overall Category No.1 Ranking’ including beauty during the Mega Wari (Mega Discount) event on the global beauty platform Qoo10 Japan.

VT Cosmetic’s ‘Cica Daily Soothing Mask’ had already ranked No.1 in overall sales across all categories during the Mega Wari events held last year and in March. In the current event, which started on the 1st, VT Cosmetic continues its steady upward trend by securing the No.1 overall sales ranking.

Qoo10 Japan is an open market operated by eBay and is considered one of the four major open market platforms in Japan alongside Rakuten, Amazon Japan, and Yahoo Shopping. In particular, Qoo10 Japan’s Mega Wari is a large-scale shopping festival where over 6 million products are sold.

VT Cosmetic attracted new customers through aggressive marketing during this Qoo10 Mega Wari event. The company reported that average sales increased by more than 30% compared to the Mega Wari in March this year, achieving not only qualitative but also quantitative growth.

VT Cosmetic’s ‘Cica Daily Soothing Mask,’ which ranked No.1 in the Qoo10 overall ranking, contains Cicalio, effective for skin soothing, and Hyalon, effective for skin moisturizing and strengthening the moisture barrier. The product is recognized for its safety, having obtained the stringent European cosmetic certification (CPNP).

A VT Cosmetic representative said, “Following last year, sales in Japan have significantly increased in the first half of this year as well,” adding, “We will lead the sustainable growth of K-beauty by not only managing loyal customers in Japan but also actively discovering new customers.”
