[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] ‘Bons Dosirak’ announced on the 7th that it has opened its 400th store, Jeonnam Gwangyang-eup Branch, nine years after the brand launch. It has been three years and six months since reaching the 300th store in 2017.

To commemorate this, Bons Dosirak held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and plaque presentation at the Jeonnam Gwangyang-eup Branch located in Gwangyang City, Jeonnam, on the 3rd. A total of 400 lunchboxes will be donated and delivered to vulnerable groups in the local community.

Since starting its franchise business in 2012, Bons Dosirak has built brand awareness with a differentiated concept as a ‘premium Korean meal box brand.’

Last December, despite the difficulties caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, monthly sales continuously grew, reaching 18 billion KRW. This is the result of actively developing the franchise business by introducing a delivery-optimized model amid the trend of preference for single meals, delivery, and group lunchboxes.

CEO Lee Jinhee said, “It is very meaningful that Bons Dosirak, loved through continuous communication and growth with franchise owners nationwide, has achieved the milestone of the 400th store in the hometown of its popular menu, Gwangyang-style Basak Bulgogi.”
