[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] On Monday the 7th, the Seoul metropolitan area and the Yeongseo region of Gangwon Province will be mostly cloudy, while other areas will be generally clear, with daytime highs reaching up to 33 degrees Celsius, making it hot. Due to dense fog along the central west coast, caution is advised for rear-end collisions, and it is recommended to check flight operation information in advance.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) forecasted that by 9 a.m. this morning, less than 5mm of rain will fall on the five islands in the West Sea, and raindrops may fall in northern Gyeonggi and northern Yeongseo of Gangwon. As sea fog flows into the West Sea, dense fog with visibility below 200 meters will form along the central west coast, and fog with visibility less than 1 km will occur inland and along the Jeolla west coast. Aircraft at airports near the central west coast or ships navigating the West Sea may experience disruptions in their schedules, so it is advisable to check operation information in advance.

The KMA urged, "Visibility may become very short or change rapidly on the Seohaedaegyo Bridge, Yeongjongdaegyo Bridge, and Incheondaegyo Bridge adjacent to the central west coast, so when driving, maintain sufficient distance between vehicles and reduce speed to prevent rear-end collisions and other accidents."

Daytime highs on Monday are expected to range from 22 to 33 degrees Celsius. The perceived temperature will rise to 33 degrees, making it hot. Especially in the southern Chungcheong region and southern inland areas, temperatures will soar above 30 degrees. The highest daytime temperatures by region are Daegu 33°C, Gwangju 32°C, Jeonju 31°C, Gangneung, Daejeon, and Ulsan 30°C, and Seoul 26°C. Tomorrow morning's low temperatures will be between 16 and 21 degrees, with most of the country recording daytime highs above 25 degrees, and the day after tomorrow, most inland areas nationwide will see temperatures rise above 30 degrees.

From tonight until the morning of the 8th, rain accompanied by thunder and lightning will fall in northern Gyeonggi and central-northern Gangwon due to a pressure trough passing from the north. Expected precipitation is around 5mm. As sea fog flows into the West Sea, dense fog with visibility below 200 meters will occur in some areas, so caution is needed for traffic safety.
