‘Let’s Build a Supportive Busan for Children!’ … Busan City and Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Hold ‘First Half Education Administration Council’ Busan City Hall.


[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Busan City and the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education are holding a first half education-administration meeting to collaborate on creating a Busan that empowers children.


Busan City (Mayor Park Hyung-joon) and the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seok-jun) announced on the 7th that they will hold the "2021 First Half Busan City Education-Administration Council" at 3 p.m. on the 8th in the Strategy Meeting Room on the 4th floor of the annex building of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education.


The "Education-Administration Council" is a forum where Busan City and the Office of Education discuss to efficiently address educational and regional issues such as closing the education gap and supporting educational projects.


They will discuss mutual cooperation plans on agenda items including ▲ the pilot project to achieve "School Violence Zero!" ▲ the request for "Free Kindergarten Meal Support" to make Busan a better place to raise children ▲ and the Vocational High School-Regional Cooperation Based Vocational Education Innovation District project to establish a growth path of employment first, learning later for vocational high schools based on an industry-academia-government cooperation system.


Mayor Park Hyung-joon of Busan said, "The city and the Office of Education will gather wisdom for the happy growth of children through continuous trust and cooperation in the changing educational environment," adding, "The city will also actively cooperate to create policies that empower children."
