KOTRA Supports Domestic Fintech Companies in Attracting Overseas Investment

From the 7th to the 11th, Seoul Fintech Lab Hosts 'Korea Fintech Investment Attraction Non-Face-to-Face Consultation'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] KOTRA announced on the 7th that it will hold the 'Korea Fintech Investment Attraction Non-face-to-face Consultation' until the 11th in collaboration with Seoul Fintech Lab, a fintech incubation center operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

This consultation event was organized to support foreign investment attraction for promising Korean fintech companies. Ten global investors interested in fintech sectors such as asset management and security/authentication, along with eleven domestic companies residing in Seoul Fintech Lab, will participate. The event consists of one-on-one non-face-to-face video consultations between overseas investors and domestic companies, as well as a promotion introducing the Korean fintech industry to foreign investors.

KOTRA and Seoul Fintech Lab plan to utilize the strengths of each institution to support the revitalization of the fintech industry, one of the core areas of the Digital New Deal, and to create success stories. Additionally, KOTRA intends to leverage the global network of 36 investment attraction-dedicated trade offices worldwide to discover additional investors and support the successful completion of ongoing investment projects even after the consultation event ends.
