[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Kolon Industries FnC Division's outdoor brand 'Kolon Sports' announced on the 6th that it will introduce camping supplies along with various clothing products for the camping season.
First, through collaboration with three artists, they are launching a T-shirt collection themed 'My Summer Trip.' The collaborating artists are illustrator Gwak Myungju, drawing artist Seong Rip, and the street casual brand ‘International,’ who expressed Kolon Sports' symbol, the evergreen tree, with their unique sensibilities. The T-shirts contain more than 35% recycled polyester made from recycled PET bottles, adding an eco-friendly meaning.
In addition to T-shirts, socks and badges are also introduced to allow customers to enjoy a wider variety of collaborative products. They will also release camping wappen T-shirts, featuring wappen inspired by Kolon Sports' camping supplies. The material used is a blend of recycled polyester and cotton.
Kolon Sports will present camping supplies in collaboration with Helinox again this year. The first collaborative product sold out within two weeks of its release. This season, the lineup includes camping chairs and lightweight field beds that are compact and easy to carry anywhere, whether camping or picnicking. Some products from the tent hut series, which sold out through the funding platform ‘Wadiz’ last year, are also expected to be available on the official website and Kolon Mall.
Park Seongcheol, Kolon Sports brand manager, said, “Kolon Sports has prepared the most diverse camping items this season, from tents to camping styling. It was planned so that Kolon Sports can be timely used according to the expanding camping outdoor activities, from nearby campnics to backpacking.”
