[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] At around 2:42 PM on the 3rd, a train on Seoul Subway Line 1 at Gasan Digital Complex Station stopped due to a malfunction, causing inconvenience to passengers.
Passengers on the malfunctioning train all disembarked at the station according to instructions and used subsequent trains arriving on other tracks. Korail moved the problematic train to the vehicle depot around 3:35 PM and is investigating the cause of the malfunction.
A Korail official stated, "Since there are two tracks, there was no delay issue with the trains."
