- Apartments with 'Station' in Complex Names Have Over 70% First-Choice Closing Rate in the Last 3 Years
- From January to April This Year, Apartments with 'Station' in Names Nationwide Exceed 84% First-Choice Closing Rate
Apartments with the name of a ‘station’ in their complex name are gaining popularity. These complexes, which directly or indirectly indicate access to subway, light rail, or high-speed rail stations, continue to sell out in pre-sale applications, setting new records for first-priority application closing rates over the past three years.
According to data analyzed by real estate research firm Realtoday, examining complexes launched nationwide from 2018 to 2020, there were 135 apartment complexes with ‘station’ in their names. Among them, 100 complexes succeeded in closing first-priority applications, showing a closing rate of 74%.
The first-priority closing rate, which was 70% (22 out of 31 complexes) in 2018, rose to 74.5% (38 out of 51 complexes) in 2019, and then steadily increased to 75.4% (40 out of 53 complexes) in 2020. Furthermore, from January to April this year, the first-priority closing rate for apartments with ‘station’ in their names nationwide was 84.2% (16 out of 19 complexes), continuing strong performance in the first half of the year.
A Realtoday official explained, “Having ‘station’ in the complex name allows potential buyers to immediately recognize that the complex offers access to subway, light rail, or high-speed rail. These complexes enable convenient travel within and outside the region using their respective transportation networks, and residents can enjoy various lifestyle amenities formed around these transit hubs.”
