Lotte GRS Donates Profits from 'Mam Pyeonhan Queens Funding'

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Lotte GRS announced on the 3rd that the total proceeds of approximately 28 million KRW from the '2nd Mom Pyeonhan Queens Funding,' conducted to support the economic independence of single-parent families, have been recorded.

Since 2018, Lotte GRS has been holding offline flea markets to help single mother sellers open sales channels, but due to the continuous spread of COVID-19, it was newly organized in the form of online funding, marking its second year this year.

'Mom Pyeonhan Queens Funding,' jointly operated by Lotte GRS and Holt Children's Welfare Association, was run in a format where donors receive handmade goods directly manufactured and produced by single-parent families as rewards corresponding to the amount they participated in funding. This year as well, Lotte GRS applied a one-to-one matching method, donating an amount equal to the funding raised. It was operated for all Lotte Group employees, and employees from various affiliates participated in the funding.

Among them, Lotte Construction sponsored the largest amount among affiliates, following last year. This year, they doubled the donation amount to participate in the sponsorship.
