[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Mesh Korea (CEO Yoo Jung-beom), operator of 'Boorung,' announced on the 3rd that it has signed a contract with seafood processing company Eunha Fisheries (CEO Lee Hyun-woo) to provide same-day and early morning delivery services.
Through this contract, Mesh Korea will offer same-day and early morning delivery services for Eunha Fisheries' premium seafood to consumers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon who order through Lotte On. It will also provide an IT solution that allows easy utilization of big data related to the entire logistics process, including order volume, delivery routes, and delivery schedules.
Eunha Fisheries is a seafood processing company that started in 1970 at Busan Jagalchi Market under the name 'Yeongdo Sanghoe.' After establishing as a corporation in 2000, it was recently selected as a member company of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries' 'Korea Seafood Distribution Forum.' Mesh Korea has equipped all 450 Boorung trucks, including those at the Gimpo and Namyangju Boorung Fulfillment Centers (FC), with a 'full cold chain' system optimized for fresh food. The recently expanding Micro Fulfillment Centers (MFC) also have freezing and refrigeration facilities, enabling the maintenance of optimal freshness during storage and delivery.
Yoo Jung-beom, CEO of Mesh Korea, said, "We have begun providing Mesh Korea's IT-based logistics services to Eunha Fisheries, a traditional seafood processing company in Busan," adding, "We plan to continue cooperating to build an optimal logistics system so that fresh Eunha Fisheries seafood from Busan can be enjoyed fresh anywhere nationwide."
