[Breaking] Police: "Son Jung-min Friend's Phone Shows No Anomalies"

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Regarding the case of university student Son Jeongmin (22), who went missing at Hangang Park and was later found dead, the digital forensic analysis of friend A's cellphone showed no abnormalities. Additionally, the police are investigating the circumstances with the sanitation worker who found the cellphone.

A Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency official told reporters on the 1st, "The forensic results did not reveal any content related to conflicts with Son or motives for the crime on the cellphone," and added, "It was also confirmed that the phone was turned off at 7:02 a.m. on April 25, the day Son went missing, and was never turned back on afterward."
